| Mix the perfect groundbait |
 |
Believe it or not it is possible to make a complete mess of mixing groundbait. This short article gives some common sense tips to get perfect results.
When mixing groundbait always be sure to add all dry
ingredients first i.e.: maggots, pellets, sweetcorn casters etc. secondly
always add the water to the groundbait mix along with any additive you wish
to use. Never do it the other way round, as it will become a big stodgy
mess. Dont forget that you can also use the liquid that surrounds
the sweencorn, or the water in which your hempseed is cooked to give the
groundbait extra sweetness, taste and flavouring. For absolutely perfect
results you can pass the dampened groundbait through a riddle (coarse sieve)
to remove any lumps and introduce some extra air to the mixture. |
